Feminism:
Core Theorists of Queer Theory and Intersectional Feminism:
Some of the core theorists in the development of queer theory include Michel Foucault, Gayle Rubin, Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick, and Judith Butler.
The core tenant is that sexuality and gender are formed, at least in part, by your race, culture, health/ability and social experience. Which means there is no such thing as heteronormity.
Kimberlé W. Crenshaw
a Distinguished Professor of Law proposed that there is a "white feminism" that excludes women of colour and the LGBTQ community. She wrote about intersectional feminism, which finds the female experience where they are, rather than trying to assimilate the women into what already existed. Which looks at issues white middle and upper-class women rarely, if ever, face.
**Hailey Heartless:**
(a transgender sex worker) raised the need to include sex workers and the trans community as integral parts of the women's movement. Exclusion risks the lives of women, as well as their ability to control their own body and reduces their ability to give meaningful consent to sexual activity as well. Which is counter to what feminism is.
**The voice of men and boys who are victims:**
Feminism began to protect those who could not protect themselves, to allow their truth to be spoken and change the system that tolerates molestation of children and rape and sexual harassment of adults, It needs to focus on more than women and girls. To leave no one behind.
**Those who are injured, ill and frail:**
Feminism began to protect those who might never function as a full bodied, able citizen. Who need more social and physical supports, but still seek autonomy and dignity in their lives. Again, to leave no one behind.
Whether as a feminist or an ally, we need to change the systems that exclude and villify those who have different needs.
Gender and sexuality impact our body image, self esteem and even our identity. And if we're not properly supported, threaten our safety, health, relationships and very lives. So we need to shape our social and sexual roles to suit our needs in each century, in each culture and have the religions and law-makers follow suit.
Because we are your daughters, your wives, your sisters and your mothers.

Feminism needs to recognize that society and it's issues impact us differently, but still impact us all. We need to change with each century as society does. While keeping the core values of feminism.
